How long have you been teaching?
I began teaching art at the college level in 1980.

What are your education credentials?
I have a master of fine arts degree.

What do you most enjoy about teaching?
I love the students!

What's your favorite kids' book?
Island of the Blue Dolphins, by Scott O'Dell.

What's your favorite thing to do outside of school?
Making art, of course, although I also like hiking and cross-country skiing.

Will you tell us about your family?
I have twin boys who are 17, a collie named Sam, and a husband named Bob.

Mrs. Deyo is our outstanding and exuberant art teacher. She improves our artwork and has fun and original activities planned for us. Our exciting teacher has a Master of Fine Arts degree and shows her great talent in class. She enjoys our creativity.

Outside of school she enjoys doing yoga, and, of course, art. You might have seen some of her excellent work at the art store on the Pearl Street Mall. She has 17-year-old twin boys and a collie named Samantha.
